Our school uses mobile apps to improve parent-teacher communication. Find out which apps we use and how to download them below. Contact us if you need any help.

ClassDojo

ClassDojo helps teachers and families collaborate to support social emotional learning with Points and Big Ideas—and gives kids a voice of their own with Portfolios.

How to get the ClassDojo app

On your phone, download the app here:

On your computer:

1. Search for ClassDojo in the Apple store for iPhones or iPads, or in Google Play for Android devices.
2. Download the app.
3. Create an account.
4. Add our school.

QKR

The Qkr! (pronounced quicker) app gives you a secure and easy way to order and pay for school items and lunch orders. Qkr is free and accepts debit/credit cards to offer you a wide variety of payment choices.

How to get the Qkr! app

On your phone, download the app here:

On your computer:

1. Search for Qkr! in the Apple store for iPhones or iPads, or in Google Play for Android devices.
2. Download the app.
3. Create an account.
4. Add our school.

Sentral for Parents

In the Sentral for Parents App you can view newsletters, send absence notifications, access online school reports and book parent/teacher interviews.

How to get the Sentral for Parents app

On your phone, download the app here:

  1. When the app opens, it will ask to send notifications. Click Allow.
  2. Search for ‘Bordertown Primary School’.
  3. Tap ‘next’.
  4. Tap ‘register here’.
  5. Enter your details.
  6. Tap ‘create account’. This process also creates a Sentral Parent Portal account. You can use your login details here to access the app and the Parent Portal.
  7. You will receive a confirmation email.
  8. Click the link in the confirmation email to verify your details.
  9. Log in to your app.
  10. In the Settings menu use the access key/s provided by the school to add your children to the app. Access keys can be obtained by contacting the front office.
  11. You will then see the home screen.
  12. View the QuickStart guide.
  13. Now you’re ready to use the app.
